Perspective -- privacy policy

Perspective is a single-user, personal planning app. The person who operates this instance is its only user; there is no sign-up, and no other person's data is collected here.

Google Calendar (read-only)

If the owner connects a Google account, Perspective requests exactly one OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. That token can list calendars and read events -- it cannot create, edit, or delete anything, and it cannot reach Gmail, Drive, or any other Google data.

The resulting refresh token is written to a configuration file on the server only (file permissions restricted to the server's own account); it is never sent to the browser or to any other party. Calendar events fetched for display are kept in the browser's memory for whichever period is currently on screen and are discarded when that period changes -- they are never written into a saved plan or any database. Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions or the Disconnect button in Perspective's own settings, which deletes the stored token immediately.

Other integrations

This instance can optionally read project names and time-tracking entries from a Grist workspace the owner also owns. That connection is configured and stored server-side the same way, and is read-only.

What is never done with any of this

No data described here is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. This app runs no analytics or tracking scripts; the only cookie it sets is its own sign-in session.
